Five Things to do on Sunday Morning

For me, Sundays are a day of rest, reflection, and preparation for my upcoming week. Sundays are days to be with your family, doing a fun activity or just lounging around your house. On Sunday's I put on my most comfortable outfit (hello leggings and t-shirt) and slow down for a minute. I keep a fresh face and let my skin breathe. Keep my hair messy all day and sometimes don't move from the couch! Today I wanted to share my five favorite things to do on a Sunday morning. Keep reading to find out!

1. Pick up coffee from your favorite coffee shop - For me, getting a coffee from Starbucks or a local coffee shop is a treat. On Sunday's I love treating myself to something that I normally wouldn't get. Heading out to the local coffee shop with a great friend is a good way to catch up. This is something I try to do every few weeks!

2. Prepare yourself for the upcoming week - While I was working full-time, I always used Sunday's as the day to prepare and get ready for my week ahead of me. Sunday's I would shoot all of my blog posts, grocery shop, and cook mine and Mark's breakfast and lunch for the week. It is a great way to set yourself up for a successful week and certainly helps whether you are dieting or just trying to save money!
3. Reflect on the past week - Sunday's are a great day to rest up and reflect on your past week and what you hope to accomplish in the upcoming week. Lately, my head is full of to-do lists. From wedding to-do lists to business plans, I have a lot that I plan on accomplishing every week. On a day to day basis I have come up with a check list to accomplish every day so that I stay on task. I always add a few new things to it every week if I want to accomplish something new!

4. Read something - Along with reflecting on Sunday's I like to take some time to read something or do some extra research. Whether it is researching for a new blog post or becoming better informed on   a health topic or current event, I usually try to pick up something new to read. I am constantly researching. I believe it is the only way to get better at what you love! 
5. Rest - The most important thing to do on Sunday's is rest! Don't forget to take some time to binge watch your favorite show or just take an afternoon nap with your pup! No one will judge you and trust me your mind and body will thank yourself for taking the time to do so. The Monday-Friday hustle can be tough and we all need some time to get some extra rest and recharge!
