Chambray Colored Floral

After last weeks, week of rain, I was so ready to get out and start dressing for warm weather again. I had recently purchased this absolutely gorgeous Tularosa chambray colored floral dress. I couldn't wait any longer to get it on and get outside. Although it was still a pretty rainy day I wouldn't let that dull my shine and got outside to shoot some amazing photos!

When I think of my style I like to think of things feminine and floral but with a twist. I have been seeing so many people styling their adorable spring dresses with sneakers and thought I would put my own twist on it and throw on my favorite espadrilles. I purchased these Soludos espadrilles from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and have already gotten so much wear out of them! They are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.
Instead of the sneaker and dress combo, a combination of flats or espadrilles is a little more my style and something I would actually wear on a day to day basis. The fit and flare of this dress is extremely feminine but adding a sneaker or espadrille style shoe dresses it down for a more casual occasion.
One of my favorite parts of this dress is the attention to detail. Around the hem there are tiny pom poms that line it. There is also a cut out detail about two inches above the hem and again in the midsection. It accentuates the smallest part of your waist and who doesn't want that!
Not only are there intricate details throughout the dress but the back also is completely open. I have been a lover of open back details for years and this dress immediately caught my eye just for the open back detail!
