2016 Swimwear Trends

It's beginning to look a lot like my favorite season where all of the amazing prints and styles of bikinis start to hit the shelves for bikini lovers lie myself to shop! Today, I wanted to round up the top three trends that I have found while shopping around online. When it comes to bikinis I am a big believer of finding a suit that fits your style perfectly. There are so many options from bright colors to more subdued styles as well as barely there bikinis and more modest styles. I also find that sometimes you have to spend a little extra just to have a quality piece that will last you more than one season. There are two things that I don't hesitate to splurge on and that is denim and bikinis. Keep reading to see my top three styles!

1. Little Black Swimsuit - Who does't love black? It is a classic, slimming, and you can find so many styles in one simple color. After seeing Kourtney Kardashian looking amazing in an all black one piece suit, I knew I had to get myself one. I love this one by Topshop and the best part is it is reversible and only $58!

2. High Necklines - I love a high neckline and am so happy that they have made their way to the swimwear scene. For small chested gals like me a high neckline is perfectly flattering. They come in all sorts of styles with stappy backs or maybe a more simple back. This Mara Hoffman one piece is modest but has a great look to it. It is currently in my shopping cart!

3. Bold Prints - On a day to day basis I usually gravitate towards pastels and light and bright colors. For swimwear though, I don't always like pastels as they can make you look washed out. The bold print is a print that should always be worn on the beach. I love the contrast of the light sand and bright waters with a bold print. This Maaji bikini is amongst my favorites and I hope this trend is here to stay!
