Travel Beauty Essentials

As you saw in yesterday's post, I traveled to NYC over the weekend. Even though we are just a few hours from home when we go into the city I still like to make sure I pack my beauty essentials but try not to over pack as too many products are never necessary.

I am kind of a minimalist when it comes to makeup but I do love my blush and highlighter. When deciding what to pick I usually try to bring as many palettes as I can in order to save space. The Naked Basics Palette and Naked Flushed Palette from Urban Decay are my two favorite because they both have multiple colors in them. I usually try to bring a few brushes that have many different uses such as my double ended brushes that came with my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and my blush and face brushes as well as my Beauty Blender. The Beauty Blender is great because it can be used with many different products. I use it for my concealer and to blend my Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour and Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight.

Skin care is very important to me. My recent favorite is First Aid Beauty which has been a lifesaver to my skin this winter. You can read my review here. I always make sure to bring my face cleansernight creamand lip balm. Keeping your skin hydrated while traveling is always important.

Another essential that I always bring is my current nail polish and top coat to touch up my nails if need be. Although my nails were done at the photo shoot I brought along with me Essie Ballet Slippers and Essie Top Coat. I also always bring my favorite fragrance which is of course Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I threw it all in this adorable Kisses Print Makeup Clutch which is just the perfect size and oh so cute!
