Coffee Almond Date

Over the weekend I had been craving a smoothie I recently had at a local juice bar and decided I would create my own. Since it came out so delicious I just had to share the recipe I came up with. For Christmas my mom gave me a Nutri Ninja Blender and I have been trying to come up with new things to make in it. Keep following along to see my most recent obsession: Coffee Almond Date!

Honestly, what is better then coffee and almond milk? Mix it together with some almond butter, bananas, a hint of vanilla, and the sweetness from dates and you have yourself a healthy and filling smoothie. I have been making this exact recipe every morning and although I do love my green smoothies, I have found that this smoothie keeps me fuller longer and gives me a bit more energy with the coffee!

1/2 Cup Almond Milk
1/4 Cup of your favorite coffee
2 dates pitted and roughly chopped
1 Banana
1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Handful of ice cubes

Add all of the ingredients into your blender or Nutri Ninja and blend well!
